What is this tool for?
The BMW MOST system is a fiber optic loop. If any single component in the loop (e.g., satellite radio, amplifier, CD changer, Bluetooth module) fails, the entire system goes down. This diagnostic tool allows you to "bypass" a suspected faulty module. You simply unplug the fiber optic connector from the module and plug this loop in its place. If the rest of the system starts working, you have found your faulty component. This is a must-have tool for any BMW DIYer or independent mechanic.
