CRITICAL Programming & Installation Note
This is NOT a plug-and-play part. This DME is part of the vehicle's immobilizer system (EWS/CAS) and is locked to the original vehicle's VIN. To function in your car, it MUST be professionally programmed by a qualified BMW specialist. This typically involves "cloning" the data from your original DME to this replacement unit. The vehicle will NOT start until this is done. We are not responsible for any programming costs.
