This is NOT a plug-and-play part. Due to the GM Passlock vehicle anti-theft system, you MUST perform a security relearn procedure after installation. Failure to do so will result in a no-start condition.
The standard relearn procedure is simple and typically involves turning the key to the "ON" position for 10 minutes, then "OFF" for 10 seconds, and repeating this sequence three times. Please consult your vehicle's service manual or search online for the specific "Passlock Relearn Procedure" for your model. We are not responsible for any installation or programming costs.
